About the community
The Western Balkan Open Energy Modelling Community (WB-OEMC) acts as a collaborative platform aimed at bringing together energy modellers from the six countries of the Western Balkans. Its primary goal is to promote open-source and open-science practices within the region.
The Community’s mission is to advance energy modelling initiatives that tackle regional challenges, encourage sustainability, and support the transition to cleaner energy systems. Here, you will discover resources, share methodologies, and contribute to a collective knowledge base that fosters innovation and collaboration among professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts. Join us on our journey to empower the Western Balkans through transparent and inclusive energy modelling!
We invite contributions and recommendations regarding the website's content and the scope of our work from researchers and professionals across all Western Balkan nations and others interested in this subject matter.
